repairs post-virus

I was infected by a virus from an outlook express newsgroup, I removed it with mcafee but now I'm encountering many small glitches, nothing major just annoying. Is there a way to repair this problem, I've already did a system restore to a point prior to infection but still have problems.Thanks for any help at all, olopbob

I would also have a close look at the McAfee Website and read all the information they have regarding the virus that infected your system.In some cases you have to dig around and locate some files or entries left behind by the virus.I find that they usually provide good instructions to assist.
