Guy I got the motherboard seen here (http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductdesc.asp?description=13-130-419&depa=0) I have two sticks of DDR PC2700 RAM one is 256 and the other is 512. Is the only thing i need is to find an Athlon processor such as AthlonXP that is compatiable with a PC2700 bus speed?

is there anything else i need to know?

Thanks!

Personally, I like the 2500 XP (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=19-103-379&depa=0), but any XP processor with the Barton core should go well with that board.

Basically, you can use all of the Athlon XP's model from 1400+ to 3000+. I recommend 2500+ Barton because of the whole bang for buck thing.;)
BTW, nice motherboard, I have the same.:D

you might want to try a mobile 2500+. Its only $10 more, is unlocked and has much better overclocking potential. Here (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=19-103-401&depa=1)
