Slack Space CD-R????

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to have slack space on a CD-R or DVD-R and therefore possible to hide any data in there?

Welcome to the forums William

Try the following. (use CD-RW disk to check it out)

Make the file you want to hide a hidden file (right click it & selct properites and select hidden).

Now ensure that view all files is selcted in folder view.

Drag the hidden file (along with a few others) into your burning program and burn away.

Once completed turn of view all files and check the Cd to see if you can see the (hopefully) hidden file.

If this does not work you can get a program that will hide the file inside a graphic. This would allow you to burn the graphic with the file inside. The following ;link is such a program. (it is a freebie)
