If I had say 100 folders in the Outlook folder list, all with e-mails inside them, what's the best way to make an exact copy of them so that if I had to completely uninstall Outlook I would be able to recreate all the mail/folders once it is reinstalled?
I thought it was possible just to go to the documents and setting/user/localsetting/application data/microsoft/outlook and then copy the .pst files there, and once the outlook had been removed and reinstalled the files could just be pasted back in, but I haven't had any luck with doing this.
How can I quickly make an exact copy of everything in Outlook (an image basically), that I can just plop back in afterwards???

I'm new to the Outlook world...

in outlook click > file > import and export > export to file > pst file > personal folders > include sub folders > save as........

you can now save to anywhere you like, either another partition or hdd or cd preferable...........

To export back......make sure that pst file is on hdd IT WILL NOT EXPORT FROM CD.........I tried for ages to do this as there is no warning or error message, it just dont work.....

then export from etc. pick the file ..................
