Can't find HD!!!

I was working on my friend PC with him. We left for about a 30 minutes. After we got back it was frozen and green led was blinking. So I tried to reset it but it didn't find HD. I tried to boot it couple more times with floppy and CD but it was same thing. So I take it home and tried milion other things such as diferent cables, switch IDE ports. I took the HD out and put it in other PC but it worked perfectly in there. Than I put it back but still same. Is something wrong with motherboard or BIOS? This PC was runnig for about a month without a problems. Please HELP!!!!!

Remove everything except the power supply, MB, CPU, and system speaker.
Place the MB on a piece of cardboard.
If you hear no beeps, then the PS, MB, or CPU is bad.
If you hear beeps, install the memory. Same beeps? Memory is bad.
Different beeps? Install the video card. Same beeps? Video card is bad.

Did you put the cpu fan on with thermal grease, or did it have tape?

Hi, guys, thanks for tips, but problem is solved very simply. I just changed the CMOS batery and it runs as new. Thanks.
