Any one familiar with Norton Cleansweep 2002?
I have a problem when I run Cleansweep Registry Sweep. I get partially through it and the following error message comes up:CS32 caused an invalid page fault in
module CS32.EXE at 0177:00400061. The software is obviously not supported anymore and the database of info has no relative info on this error. The Registry Sweep is a great tool for cleaning up all the litter that accumulates. I'll be lost without it! Any hints would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried just uninstalling it, and reinstalling it. Also, on the 'Applications and Security' Page, read all the topics at the top marked 'PRIORITY' in bold letters.

Also, check this out: http://www.xblock.com/download-freeware.shtml/

Doin' a little detective work here. Will resort to uninstall /install as last resort. Most info from the "knowledgebase" is off target, although there is mention of AdAware stealing Cscore.dll, of which I have none, so......Don you mentioned, "Applications and Security" page?where am I looking for this?

Was reading how Csinject is necessary for Cleansweep to run properly so I went into Explorer and started Csinject.exe before starting Cleansweep, then started Cleansweep, started Registry Sweep, it ran all the way thru, closed it, Cold booted windows and now the problem seems to have gone away as Cleansweep Registry Sweep now runs from start to finish........Yeah!

A tip for you, although Norton may have updated NSW since I used it. If you have a download, uninstall all the NSW utilities first, all of them, everything except the AV. When the dwnld is finished downloading BEFORE you click on the installation procedure, log off the internet and then disable the AV. Ctrl Alt Delete and close the AV prgram, then after the install rebootand the AV will come back (well, it should). I do that every time I can on a download .

Well, just an something for you to consider.
