I've got a single user on my network that is having occasional problems with Outlook (installed as part of Office 2K Pro).

She'll be happily working away and then with no apparent reason and no error coming up on screen, Outlook simply fails to respond to any mouse clicks!!! It doesn't even appear to register a click is made and you can't even click on the button on the taskbar.

Everything else seems to work fine and she can click away no probs, but just not Outlook. The only way to get round it is to do the 3 finger shuffle and end task!!!

User has a roaming profile and works on multiple pc's (NT, 2K and XP)and the problem seems to happen at random on all of them.

Any ideas?

If this is happening to a single user on 3 different operating systems, I would suspect the problem is with her roaming profile. Perhaps the profile is corrupted. Have you tried deleting it and creating a new profile for her to see if that fixes it? Usually that did the trick for me when I was net admin using NT and 2K - don't know about XP since I retired before it was released. ;)
