I recently insert a new 40G hard drive into my computer - Windows 98, AMD 2/333 PROCESSOR Hewlett Parkered.
I also reinstall the image of my old hard drive to this mew hard drive.
lastly, I patitioned my hard drive to 20G Windows and 20G for Linux + swap.
However, I wanted to back up the disk in preparation for Linux installation. All the backup tools could not access the new drive E. I went to Explorer and I got " Drive E not accessible Drive is not ready".
Also, if I put another CD in the drive - like game CD, it functions perfectly. The problem arises when a blank CD is in the Drive.
