Computer and Television

Can anyone tell me what I need to do so as to use my computer as a little nice goggle box ?
I don't know how to 'link' the two together, what cables/usbs etc do i need ? I don't know anything, so please help me...

Hi there Sensor and welcome to the forums
I assume you want to view TV on your computer?

If so you can buy a PCI TV card from your local shop (or on-line). After installation you connect your antena/ariel to the backof your card along with a connection to yoursound card. Run the setup program on the installation CD and it will do an autosearch for available stations. This is the easiest and cheapest way.

If you mean that you want to view your computer on your exesting TV then you need to buy a graphics card with TV out facillity along with the relevant cables. If you cn afford to do so I would suggest you lookfor something that has VIVO abillity (vid in - vid out) this would allow you to view comp on Tv and bring TV/VHS to your computer.
