i have just bought an origo adsl router and with some help from someone got the two pc's i have working on the internet. i would now like to set up a network so that i can share files and printer but i need help as i don't know the first thing about this. one PC is running xp and the other is running 98se. is there someone out there who could spare some time to help me i would be very grateful.

Run the Network wizzard on the XP Computer. Have a floppy disk handy and create a disk when offered. Take the disk to the Win98 computer and run the wizzard there.

I've tryed what you suggested but i get an error message which reads "this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effecton this computer. please contact your system administrator.".
this may be due to something i may have done before. as i am not very good with computers but willing to learn could you please help again!!
