Cannot delete a folder in the network

Hi there,

I am trying to delete a folder in one of the network drives in the server, in my office.
I created the folder some time ago but found that I had no use for it. So I tried to delete it with my admin account but got a message saying something like "Unable to delete.... network trash folder may be in use..." , can't remember the exact msg, but it's something along those lines.

The folder is empty, by the way.

Any ideas?

Can you delete it you long directly into the server?

I was logged in at the server PC.
