Hi

Anybody know about register cleaners? I have looked at Register mechanic and pcbug buster. Any input?

All I can give you is the advice given to me: try 'em, see how you like 'em. I tried XBlock and Registry mechanic, but on the freeware version you don't get all the functions. Another aspect is false readings. It just seems (to me) too convenient that you get false readings and a solicitations to buy the whole program.

I had Norton System Works, but it (the utilities) seemed to get in the way of a lot of downloads. Even if I disabled it it still got in the way, and ultimately I had to uninstall it for a download, and eventually I just got rid of it. But if I had the time I would install it just to use it, and then uninstall it.
