Strange Floppy Problem

Computer was brought into the office yesterday, every app and even when the system is closed down tries to communicate with the floppy drive.

The most noticeable is Adobe photoshop where even if you try to zoom in or edit a picture (even ones that have never came off a floppy) it tries to talk to the floppy and an simple noramly instant tasks can take 2-5 mins.

If you place a floppy in the drive every runs ok, with no apparant access to the floppy happening.

Clear the most recently used files like Documents ....go to settings on the start menu -> task bar and start menu -> start menu programs and then clear...

Did as you said, worked on everything but Adobe photoshop.

Removed it , rebooted, reinstalled and thats ok as well now.
