My Bios is a Award Plug & Play.
I inserted a pc100 and pc133 memory module into the same computer.
I booted up the hardrive came on but a black screen and repeated high beeping noise.

If your motherboard has a 133MHz bus, then remove the PC100 memory and use just the PC133.
If it has a 100MHz bus, then use only the PC100.
If it has a 66MHz bus, then use only the PC100. If no luck, get some 66 MHz EDO or FPM SIMM's(Use these in pairs in adjacent slots).

My experience has been different than SKI's.......I've run PC133 with PC100 numerous times with no problems. If the PC100 Ram is good enough quality, you can even run it at 133 clock speed.
It would more likely be poorly seated RAM or defective RAM than the mixing of the two in my opinion that is causing the beeping. If it is seated properly, check to make sure it is set at 100 clock speed.

I've also mixed and matched rams of different speeds. From my own experience I've found that the quality of the ram and the motherboard you're using are the biggest factors in whether this will work or not. While buying the cheap stuff is often a good idea it really isn't in this case.
