W32.Korgo.B and W32.Korgo.C, worm viruses affecting networked computers, spread through a vulnerability in Windows 2000 and XP. Korgo variants exploit LSASS vulnerability on TCP port 445 to open a back door through which an attacker could obtain remote access without authorization. Microsoft has made available a patch to resolve the LSASS vulnerability.
