.png file format and why no thumbnail in windows

im save photo to .png file format, but i run in to one problem, there no
thumbnail in any file folder like the other file format in .png all ther
is is a black box instead of a photo, does not window read .png file
is ther a way one can fix that, it a pain this way when it read and show
all other file format
