Spybot Search & Destroy v1.3 has new detections in update.

I've been trying to download the English help files for TeaTimer several times by now with a 'bad checksum error' return when I do. I'm getting the same for the updates even when trying to download just the updates. :mad:

When I click on "Update" I'm shown:
"Detection Rules"
"English Help for Tea Timer"

When I tick both of these and click "Download Updates", the result is "!!!Bad Checksum!" for both. :confused:

Which server are you trying to download the updates from?
I downloaded from Rootboxen.net and it was clean download with no errors.

Same result here. I use either the Rootboxen.net (USA) or the EON (Aussie) server. The server in Europe seldom works for me and it is very slow.

It was using the default = SpybotSD.de (Europe0

I switched to "Spybot.us by Rootboxen.net (USA)

and it worked just fine! :)

Cool,
The default server is the German language version, which is why the checksum error pops up.
And yes, I made the error too when v 1.2 first came out.

Anyone that is having problems, definitely try a different server. ;)

Took 3 tries but I finally got the alternate D/L location to stick and finally got the 2 downloads!

Now maybe I can read what 'TeaTime is all about'... (hoky poky)

Good deal, the problem is you have to select the English speaking server each time, it always defaults to the German site. A small annoyance.

Oh, hey, thanks forever on that. I even uninstalled and re-installed trying to beat that game...I was just coming to post an SOS on it. Never thought to check that icon for another mirror. :p
