Hi!
I have a Intel 200mhz mmx chip in a AT tower. Recently at powerup I get no beep. All Fans operate and LED indicators light. The hard drive light stays lit for awhile the goes dark. A soft boot, once turned on, has no effect. Computer just sits there.... never gets to the first beep!
I have checked power supply voltages. All were good, "red +5.13v",
"yellow +12.1v", "white -4.99v", Except Blue showed -11.6v instead of -12v.

The funny thing is if I leave it off for a couple days it will sometimes start. When it does starts, it runs fine. Even after +12 hours it runs fine. But it won't start unless left to sit, again, for a couple days.
Any Ideas?

Are mother boards still available online? I have seen processors.

Won't Power On Self Test ?
What motherboard do you have? Are the jumpers set correctly? Sometimes the power supply connector had become slightly dislodged. Make sure all of the cards, the CPU, and the RAM, are properly seated. Try removing them and reinserting to be sure.

Hi uncleel
Yes! Won't POST!
I have an Otto VT586TX with Intel 82430TX chipset. Award BIOS V.4.51
I have tried those things and just today, rechecked boards and connections.
Doesn't sound good.
