Hi Gang,
I have an Epox 8KHA+ that has two bulging capacitors. Epox will repair the board for $15.00 plus my shipping BUT won't touch the other caps that will probably fail soon. Rather than play their game, I would like to get a new (reliable) motherboard. I would like your suggestions on a suitable replacement.
My current system components:
Palomino 1600+ CPU
GeForce4 MMX Video Card (32 MB)
WD 800JB HDD
Lite-On 52/32/52 CD-RW
Generic 235 watt PSU
I've looked at the Abit NF-7 but am not sure my PSU can handle it PLUS my VidCard runs 3.3V (2X/4X AGP). Will the NF-7 work or do you have more appropriate suggestions.
Thanks,
CoachB
