It's Me Again. New Problem. Same PC

GAH this is getting rediculous! While before I didn't even have but the DOS OS. I NOW have my comp back up and running (turns out it WAS the DVD-ROM, a laser gave out on it) BUT its not recognizing the HD. It has it listed as a Generic HD and only 2 Gigs of space (its a 10 Gig Quantum Fireball lct10) and I can't find the drivers for it ANYWHERE. Can anyone help me again? Preeeeetty pleeeeease?

Did you reformat and partition your hard drive in the process of fixing your machine?

Did you select large disk support when you ran fdisk?

If not you are now set up with a system that has a 2GB size limt...you need to do over again making sure you answer yes to large disk ....

It took some doing and a few curse words but I got the thing working again and back in the right order. Now its just a process of redownloading EVERYTHING I had on it before the crash.... *twitch*
