I need a driver for this device. I have XP HOme. I connect the unit and I downloaded the driver but it is Zip. I use ZIPIT FAST but nothing happens. Can someone direct me to a web site where I can download this in a uncompressed format? Thanks !

Well, I looked, but without knowing the actual model, I wouldn't be able to give you adirect link. If you can't find an uncompressed driver on the linksys site, then I would look at www.driverguide.com. They're pretty good, and most of the divers they offer are valid. (I've not come across any fake ones, though some didn't work because they were tailored for a specific system). They require registration, but I've not gotten any spam linked to them, and it's free. I've look there.

On the other hand, I would be concerned if the zip file you got was from the linksys site and it wasn't able to be opened. on that front, I would recommend that you either try to download it again (in case the download got corrupted), or install winzip or winrar, both of which are free, and try it with those (in case your program isn't able to read this particular file).

Which OS are you using?
XP comes with zip facilities built in - most downloads have been compressed to allow xp to work on them, or use WinZip, which is a stable choice.
