That's on the really slow end for cd r+rw burners, but otherwise ut should do what you need it to. Has plenty of drive space, lots of ram, USB, firewire, looks pretty good. How much do they want for it and what do you need it to do?

I have one word for you, DON'T

Compaq computers are very very very proprietary. Their support sucks. You would be advised not to by a Compaq. If you read these forums you will see what they are called Compuke.....

Are they still using a 'secret' partition which holds the BIOS information so you have to:

1: Always buy a harddrive from them so it will work? (And how long will they be available)

2: Buy another motherboard in order to upgrade because the BIOS is on the harddrive and the motherboard is useless without a 'ConCrap' harddrive.

I'm sure, just as many propietary companies do, pinouts have been removed and processor voltage control by jumpers and/or jumperless is limited, so processor upgrade at a later time is near nonexistant.

Other than that, it smokes mine... :o Inside of two years from now, it won't be able to.
