Hi,
Just curious on what model/standard of router I should get. From what I'm assuming the difference is B, G, or Super-G is just the transfer speed between computers and not the internet connnection because the max. internet connection speed from version dsl is only 1.5mbps, which even the lowest model B transfer at 11mbps. Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks

The B, G and superG all relate to WIRELESS configurations. I assume that you require a router to connect to the Internet, and wish to be able to do so using a wireless link from your PC/laptop.
If so, then your assumption is correct - the 11b/11g are standards for wireless connection - they are wireless LAN (local area network) technologies, and won't make any difference to your Internet use, as this is determined by your modem/ISP settings.
I would personally go for 11g (54Mbps) from a reputable manufacturer. The newer super-G machines are all proprietary, which means they interact with other manufacturers equipment even less than standard 11b or 11g equipment!
Stick to one manufacturer for your wireless NICs and Access points (in this case the access-point built into the router) and you'll not go too far wrong.
Wireless access-points & routers for connecting to the Internet can be a great help if you have several PCs and don't want the hassle of cabling, or if you move around the house with a laptop.
Remember to check the security capabilities (this is where a lot of compatibility issues between manufacturers come in) - don't accept anything less than wifi-protected access on an 11g machine (WPA encryption) - it is much safer than WEP.
