Hi Donn......SEE HERE (http://www.pcguide.com/vb/showthread.php?threadid=30678) (From yesterday) ;)

Very quick and small download, requires no reboot. (Or you can manually change the registry as shown by malcore to "disable the ADODB.Stream Object").

You might say this one's more of a "tweak" than an update. :p

Yeah Jabar, I saw that, but since it was specific for Xp and 2k (I'm Win Me) I didn't pay it no mind. Then I got this update notice in my tray, so I checked to see if they listed it as a critical update. Since it was-- I put on my environmental protection suit, sealed the doors and windows, and put the dog AND the cat out (which is a trick since I have neither)...and went for the update download.

Apparently, either it worked because I'm still here, or it didn't and I'm not.

Only time will tell. :D

Hey guys,

I downloaded the update to the "submarine with screen doors" and something strange happened in the process. ZA94.5, haven't gone back to 5.XXX yet) gave me a couple of alerts. The first was DLLHOST.EXE/Comm Surrogate AKA Nachi, AKA Welchia is trying to access the net DON'T ALLOW IT and remove the "malware". So I didn't allow it. I searched online and found that yes, there is such an animal but there is also a legit dllhost.exe in Windows.

My all my other stuff (SPYBOT, SPYBLASTER, TH, NAV, etc is up-to-date and scans clean. Should I be concerned?

Maybe more happened than I thought. After the update, I was trying to connect to several of the sites often listed here and now I can't. Any link SPYBOT related says it can't connect to the server. Same with TomCoyote, same with Merijn. I did have a quick screen flash up that looked like it said that SPYWAREBLASTER detected something but it disappeared really quick. What happened?

I would suggest enabling all protections again in Spywareblaster.
