May be a simple thing to correct but I need help. Go onto yahoo games, when the second screen opens applet fails to load. Also unable to connect to Kazaa. If this is a problem to do with Windows xp firewall what can I do about it?

Likely to be an infection from Kazaa, not thought of well here AT ALL.
Run Spybot, reboot, Adaware, reboot, an online virus scan like Housecalls (Trend Micro site), then run HJT from a folder on the HDD and post results.:rolleyes:

Should have explained I have never connected to Kazaa with this pc. Ran ok on my old pc but unable to connect with new laptop. Same problem with Yahoo games. Thanks for the reply anyway.

Ok, if the XP firewall is turned on it might be blocking it. You DO want some sort of firewall to be running regardless, IMHO.
Zone Alarm, Kerio, Sygate all have free versions that work well.

The problem with the Yahoo games could also be due to corrupt or missing Java components.
