hello,
i have a little computer, 133 cpu, 64 meg edo ram, win 98, and just went to adsl service. (awesome service by the way). just blew my hard drive and reformatted and reinstalled, and all that good stuff. my problem, after installing my outlook 2000 back on here, when i click on the icon, my a drive activates, then a prompt on the screen ask for a cd. (huh?). when i click cancel, then outlook goes ahead and opens. i have got to say i have not ever had this one before. device manager is not showing any conflicts. system imformation shows what all my irq's are. went to copy so i could paste them here, but windows will not let me copy them. (huh?). anyway, if anyone has any idea what the problem may be please let me know. many thanks in advance. happy new year and GOD BLESS. DALE

usually it's becuase the program is missing a file and it's asking you to insert the disc so it can retrieve it.

Next time it happens just humour it and insert the disc, it may need to install a needed *.dll or similar file in order to completely operate.

Can't hurt, and might give you peace of mind. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
