ok, here's the problem, I recently built a computer for a friend of mine. Last night I went over to hook up their printer, I had a usb cable, but all the usb's were full, so I sut the machine down and unplugged their optical mouse and plugged in back into the ps/2 adapter that came with it.
Anyway, whin I tried to boot it back up, it would power on, but there were no beeps or nothing, no display. All the fans were running, the CD would open, but it would just sit there. I don't think the mouse had anything to do with it, but I swapped it back just in case, but no luck. It seems like it does the post test, but just stops. It's strange because the computer was running when I got there, but after I shut it down, it wouldn't come back up.

Any ideas?

Might have a resource conflict, when you hook the other usb up. Make sure all connections are securely attached. IF you hear hoofbeats ,dont look for zebras. Just thought i should throw that in there.
