Hello, http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
Thanks to the people who replied to my last post, sorry i didnt reply but i have been away to London, and was unable to get to the net.
The problem i have is that my computer has always been plagued by errors, until tonight when i finally found out the problem. My computer specs is:
AMD Athlon
512MB DDR (2*256MB Crucial memory)
Asus A7A266 MB
Windows XP
The problem is that the errors stop when only one stick is plugged in. Both sticks and slots work without any errors however when two mem sticks are plugged in i get errors when running demending applications.
Is it a BIOS setting that is wrong, or something to do with windows?
Should i buy 512MB DDR on one stick?
I have tried all OS (98SE,ME,2000) and there are errors in all.
Please help, as i have had enough and i am going to bed!
Thankyou all
