Eric Howes has updated his Browser Privacy & Security Pages to include Mozilla and Firefox browsers.

The Firefox browser allows us to turn off or disable popups -- those annoying, obnoxious mini-windows that many web sites use to bombard you with advertising.
The default is already set to block popups and have Java and Javascript enabled on first installation.
I did not see anything new in those links that would secure either browser, other than disabling autoupdates of extensions. Lots of screenshots of Firefox 0.9.2 Tools>Options.

shanmuga,
Am I missing something you were trying to point out?

You didn't miss anything PrntRhd, since you are using Firefox from its earlier forms :). The links could be useful to those new to Mozilla/Firefox, forced to adopt because of the recent happenings with IE.

Actually the emphasis is on Eric Howes, the author of IE-Spyads who alongwith Andrew Clover of doxdesk is considered by many as an earliest proponent of privacy & security on the Internet, much before all the forums which are now popular.

This is where he currently lives, Protecting Your Privacy & Security (https://netfiles.uiuc.edu/ehowes/www/main-nf.htm) . A first time visitor could easily spend ages at each and every link there, without realising. :)
