I'm studying for A+ and have a bit of a problem...
I'm sure that for the test, I have to know the IRQ stuff, the I/O addresses, etc. but I have a really bad memory...how do I circumvent this?

Two of the easiest methods I used while in school were the use of acrostics or acronyms, and cartoons...
Acrostics or acronyms are the use of real words, or made up nonsense words, where each of the letters of the word remind you of an important point.
An example would be HOMES, where each of the letters stands for the beginning letter of one of the Great Lakes (i.e., Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie, Superior).
It helps to trigger the memory...
The use of cartoons to help your memory is to take the important points you need to remember and create mental pictures using a cartoon style format.
