HP and Sp2

While waiting for sp2 to show up on win updates I decided that even though this computer is a little over 2 years old that I would start looking to see if there where any problems with sp2 [there had been with sp1]
I go to hp site and there it was a fix already for system restore that had to applied BEFORE adding sp2.
The point I think is that maybe all our hardware and anything that needs a driver should be checked before doing the upgrade.
I know a lot have already, but you guys know what you are doing and where to go if there is a problem.
I just mentioned this for people like myself who would not deal very well with a busted setup.

Good point Mark. I have a HP as well and check their site every now and again for updates, and have noticed the thing about the updates having to be installed before SP2. I have downloaded SP2 but not installed yet. Glad you reminded me, I will check for any updates I may have missed before installing.

I have just completed a clean install with SP2 slipstreamed onto a computer.

Only programs I have installed are basic security (ZA/AVG/A-squared and a coupleof other wee progs I install) and the printers.

The printers are an HP Deskjet 5550 using the drivers downloaded from HP site a couple of months ago and PDF995 (for printing pdf files). No problems with either of them.
