I was running the Mozilla email application Thunderbird .6, now running .7. Suddenly about 2 weeks ago while still using .6, I was unable to send any message with a Word doc attached, using any of my 6 email accounts (2 isp based, 4 hotmail via hotmail popper). I get an error saying "There was an error copying the message to the Sent folder. Retry?" subsequent tries fail, the message is not copied to sent, and when delivered it does not contain the Word doc. Again, "all of a sudden". I could do this previously, & I can send images and attach other types of files; it only seems to effect Word docs. Disabling the firewall makes no difference, & I can send all doc types from the accounts using OE. This is really becoming a PITA. Again, this problems also effects my non-hotmail non-hotmail popper accounts. What gives???
