A month back I posted a link about Verizon suing to stop someone who was sending spam messages on cellphones as text messages.
Verizon just got a permanent injunction against the guy. I don't think it will stop him as they did not get awarded any monetary damages against him and he did not bother showing up in court when the injunction was ordered.
