Reformated sons pc & rejoined NTL everything connects up ok , for some reason this pc was always painfully slow but now no loading of pages at all .Could the modem be the problem as the connection looks fine & 2 other pc's in the house work fine .The pc is working fine bar this.Also suppose I could try another isp.

Windows 98
IE ver 5.0 will load 6.0 when I can get updates..

Are you sure you are using the correct or the latest drivers for your modem.
