In the pass, when I have just installed windows, when it asks you for a password you just press ok and the box never comes back (i think), but this is abit different. Every time I boot into win 98 second edit it asks me for a microsoft networking password, and i just click ok which should get rid of it but ot comes up next time I boot up. I've looked around but cannot find out how to get rid of it, so any help would be great. P.s my computer has a built in network card so this could be why its asking for a password

Download and install TweakUI. Among other useful things, this program can also automatically type the username/password for you during windows startup.

Open control panel click on Network. In the center of the dialog box will be "Primary Network Logon" change the logon from "Client for Microsoft Networks" to "Windows Logon" click OK and reboot

Thanks, I thought it was that but as it was the first time I've come across this, I thought it was better to make sure.
