Yes, it's true. All you have to do is...
1. Join the US Navy or Marine Corps. (Reserves will do)
2. Get an NMCI account (that's Navy And Marine Corps Intranet)
3. Log onto an NMCI machine.
4. Go to https://infosec.navy.mil and download the software. If you're going to take it home, (yes, as long as you have an account and use your home machine for official business, like e-mail, this is legal) you're going to need a thumb drive or some such, as the AV software is 18mb, with firewall it's 25 mb. Oh yeah, you can get Macafee there too.
5. Go home, unzip and install.
Did it myself today. cleaned 13 viruses:eek:
