Set file cache for 98?

Apparently there are two schools of thought regarding setting a cache file size for Win 98 which is done in the System.ini file.

One school says that this is good in which case one sets both a minimum and maximum cache size(like MinFileCache=4048).

The other says that it doesn't really matter because this was actually an issue with Win95 instead.

So which one is more on target?

It really depends on how you use your computer (http://www.putergeek.com/vcache/) and how much RAM is installed. It can also be used to stabilise a Win98 system that has more than 512MB of RAM installed.
