power cords

when i had my son's pc opened to upgrade the memory, i accidently unplugged what looks like the power cords that run from the on/off switch. where does this go? it's on a hp pavilion xe734. the cord has 6 cords (3 black/1red/1green & 1yellow, and it's a female connection with 3 slots, a plugged slot, then 4 more slots). HELP! Thanks & have a great day!
