Prius owners?

My Prius is finally on the way! Any other Prius owners on this forum? What color did you choose and do you think that reflected the lenghth of time it took to get one?

Here in Northern California there is a 6 week wait for a Prius, color is not an issue in any delay to my knowledge. They are desirable here due to our local high gas prices.
Toyota sold about 20,000 in the whole US last year, not a high volume car, but the second generation is much improved compared to the first.
I don't drive one but know two who own the car, one is Driftwood Pearl and the other is Seaside Pearl.

I am waiting to see what residual value is left when the owners get ready to trade them in, a big factor for me as I drive 35,000 miles/yr and try to keep a vehicle 5 years.

6... weeks?!?! I'm in the Bay Area and I've been on the waiting list for 5 months!! Does anyone know what's the deal with Toyota 101 in Redwood City?

The State of CA got quite a few of the Prius production run, it put private owners on long waiting lists as a result.
