I have a PC from yesterday, it is not booting from hard disk as well as from floppy, and when i boot it from CD-ROM, i can access only floppy drive not hard disk.I have made all necessary changes in the setup to get the boot sequence,boot sequence is A,C,CD-ROM.what may be problem please help me.I can acess my floppy drive after booting from CD-ROM and read contents of floppy ,also i have all good bootable floppies which i tried having necessary system files.Please help me.

you have one weird computer. you are better off buying a new one or get it checked out with a specialist.

can i ask whether you have put your plug in??

hi

if you can get the computer to read the win98 bootdisk (if you don't have one go here (http://www.bootdisk.com) and get one for free) at the prompt type: scanreg_/restore with the / symbol representing a space between scanreg and /

choose to restore your registry to one day before you had problems only.

reboot, see if that does it.
