Hello, everybody!
I've just bought a new custom built system and when it showed up at home, I made sure everything was seated properly and all power conections were good, and the only problem I have other than the mouse scroll wheel not working right is that when I'm playing one of my games, the monitor will go black with no warning, then a small blue banner will appear with the words "Off in 5 seconds". Then the computer will reboot.
I haven't any idea what is wrong. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. Kbtank.

Heat or power supply.

First though, if this is a new machine, still under warranty, use that warranty. If you open it or tinker around inside there is a good chance you will void the warranty. Let the company that built it deal with it, take it back until they fix or replace it.

It might mean going without your computer for a week, but that's lots better than a hard drive failing with half the warranty period still left and finding out you voided the warranty when you opened it up to see if the CPU fan was running...

Take it or send it back, if it still won't work, take it back again...until they make it work right.
