Hot Hub????

Hi Guys

I have a 16 port network hub (Netgear) that has 2 fans :confused: . Does this thing really get that hot, I would like to take them out, partly noise, partly dust, partly annoying. This hub never sees the traffic that it was designed for. (I tend to overkill when I get hardware. :rolleyes: )

You need the engineered fans. You may be able to clean them, quiet them or replace them with quieter ones. You also may be able to relocate the hub to a place where the noise is not as obnoxious.
