Opening mail program in firefox1.0pr?

Has anyone tried opening their mail program from the new firefox?
Creating a message works fine, but I cannot open oe6 from read mail under tools. My mail button is same issue, worked fine with 0.93
Other people on the firefox forums are having same problem.
Just curious if anyone here has work around or if their's is working?

I noticed that item in the tool menu, I was able to go directly into web mail (Yahoo/DSL, and AOL) depending on what I told Windows was the default, directly, called up the program, and after password actually went to the e-mail itself with no further prompting. Scary huh?

I have the opposite problem when firefox is made the default browser in that clicking on a link in an eMail opens two instances of the same web page. Everything's normal if IE or Opera is the default browser.

As I go along there are more problems with this version than last at least for me.
The constant logging in is driving me crazy.

Hang in there, this 1.0 is a Pre Release, the RC comes out in a week or so (Tuesday).

No problem I realise it's still beta.
I knew I should have stayed with previous. Oh well :)
