I've never really been that interested in golf, never had the time to devote to playing it... except the crazy kind of course (pun not intended there).
BUT, I've been waiting for a VERY large lot of data to zip up so I've been following the coverage on the BBC site. Actually pretty interesting stuff... I've learned all about how the Ryder Cup is scored, who has won it in recent years, the highs and lows. I've even learnt what is wrong with Tiger Woods' swing.
Now I'm qualified to talk rubbish about golf to other people and I thought I'd start here.
PS: Europe are currently winning 3 - 0... but all us seasoned golf hacks know that that doesn’t necessarily mean anything in the Ryder Cup! ;)
