Hi

I really hope somebody can help me, Ive looked everywhere and the problem is really doing my head in!

I have a A7N8X mobo with 2 hard drives in an IDE setup and 2 hard drives in a SATA setup (not RAID) - All drivers and bios are up to date...

Now at random occassions when I move large files (say 4gig) from an IDE drive to a SATA drive or vice versa it BSOD on me and errors things such as 'IRQ less then Zero', 'Page error fault' and a few other similar ones (its hard to catch the actual text as the pc resets soon afterwards)...and resets the pc!

I should also mention that I am overclocking my Barton 2500+ to 3200+ by raising the fsb to 200...

Can anybody point me in the right direction? It would be very much appreciated...Thanks

The maximum file size on a FAT32 volume is 4GB whereas the size can be as big as the volume allows under NTFS - could this be what is going on?

You could use a File Splitter and Merger utility such as pagina's at http://www.splitter.vze.com/ but only if the resulting file is under 4Gig if FAT32 is being used.
