RIAA is trying to ban the eDonkey network and gnutella network, which means no more p2p for us billions of users who have the rights to SHARE what we want to LEGALLY that is. AND hollywood sued dvd x copy for making a software that can copy dvds.....
OK, here is why I am mad, just say that I happened to purchase a DVD and I either lose that DVD or I damage that DVD and I make a copy of that DVD just incase. WHY should copying that DVD for my own back up use should be illegal??!?!? I PAID FOR IT RIGHT? and I'm not one of those illegal fire sharing people, and I live in usa, with the certain rights to do with a product that I purchased. ever heard of freedom??
Anyways RIAA is crossing the line when they are trying to ban eDonkey and enutella network. There are a lot of illegal file sharers out there but there are also a lot of totally legimate file shares too. If I paid for a music CD i purchased why can't i download a copy of what i paid for?!?? Its the same material that I paid for and I SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO DOWNLOAD WHATEVER I PURCHASED previously just for my own use and backup.
BANNING gnutella or edonkey network will result in a disaster to us p2p users. All the major p2p softwares are connected through those 2 main networks and without it we will not be able to share files that we are willing to share LEGALLY that is.
I hope to see RIAA eventually get banned with the support of thousands and thousands of p2p users for taking their rights away in this democratic country. RIAA are just representing those greedy $$$ so called musicians. Half of these musicians like (britney $peedo) don't even sing on stage and lip sinking. AND they want $$$ for what they don't sing but the computers do(all the voice editing and etc.). All they do is dance half naked attracting males to listen to their music.
Anyways if we or the p2p users don't do anything about this, RIAA or other oraganization will eventually kill edonkey and gnutella network for their greed.
AND SOME MUSIC FILES ARE TOTALLY LEGAL TO SHARE AS SOME SOFTWARES TOO so don't take away my rights for file sharing!!!
