As far as video cards go. What do you guys think? I have always been NVIDIA myself, but I have never been 100% satisfied with there products. I have heard a lot of good things about ATI, so I was thinking about upgrading my video card. Right now I have a Geforce FX 5600 128MB. Was thinking about an ATI 9800PRO 256MB. Just need some opinions.
If you ask 1000 different users, you will probably get an equal number of different opinions.
But IMHO, Nvidia has better driver support, while ATI has better performance with antialiasing and anisotropic filtering enabled.
So if you do not use either AA or AF, then go with Nvidia.
Otherwise, get ATI.

In my opinion I'd go with ATI. I have heard that NVIDIA has little technical support for their products. I have used ATI and their cards have always worked great for me. Also, going with the ATI 9800 Pro 256MB sounds like an awesome card.

Just seen some reviews of the latest batch on PCI express, and the ATI top end comes out marginally ahead of NVidia, except on one test (3d studio max)
- of course this could change this afternoon, or tomorrow or ....well, it's never going to be clear cut - get a reasonable model from either make and things should be ok.

All the televisions in my house are hogged by my wife and kids. My reason for going ATI were to allow me to watch TV with the benefit of being on-line. The All-in-Wonders not only allow watching TV, but also the ability to record to one's harddrive.
It pretty much works like TIVO...
