I'm really glad but I wonder why the strong influx?

Even the most users online has gone up for the second time in about 2 weeks.

Most users ever online was 84, Today at 03:00 AM (or whatever time it may have been in your location).:D

I bet pc guide is at the head of some search site. Also with sp2 people are checking for solutions and what if any problems to look for.

Well, beside the fact that it's the best Forum around of course. :)

Other than that, I just wonder. The Google searches? The newer Software? Charles hard work finally paying off with the TCP-IP Guide and other ventures, with references the the PC Guide?
What ever is causing this phenomenon, it's really cool! Like you guys, I've been noticing an astounding number of visitors during any given time.

Maybe some of it is because Whyzman and I have been behaving ourselves with the Puns??? (We'll try to keep it that way so we don't scare our guests off).

Well Jabar', I think most of it was you and Whyzman laying off the puns... :p

I think the rest of it is the Google ads. As Ixl explained in This (http://www.pcguide.com/vb/showthread.php?t=30098) thread, as the ads are displayed in the forums, that page gets added to the Google page index. We now have many, many pages listed on Google.

I forgot to look tonight, but I've noticed pretty heavy traffic lately too, at least cmpared to the average night a few months ago...

My best guess is the Google ads too, the main site and/or forums turning up in searches more often has to help. Whatever it is, I like it...

I honestly think :D sometimes I do, think I mean. That it is the site and the guys that they meet here Gals of course included ;) I do not agree that Google has anything to do with it. It`s just US :cool: Notwithstanding various posters puns:D
