ntoskrnl.exe missing

Hi. I have a Dell Dimension 4300 with W2K. I am getting an error message during boot that says "windows 2000 could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: <window 2000 root\system32\ntoskrnl.exe. Please install a copy of the above file". Where can I get a copy of this file and how do I install it? Help, what do I do?

I did a quick Google search, it is likely a corrupted boot.ini file causing that message.
Someone here on the forums will know how to repair/replace the boot.ini file.
