please help

please people I need help with this my Sony CD-RW CDX175A don't want to work now on XP pro I have try uninstalling the drivers but that don't work I get window cannot load the device drivers for this hardware the drivers may be corrupted or missing (code 39)

Was the CD drive originally installed on an earlier version of Windows? If so, you may have to go to the Sony website and download an updated driver for Windows XP.

Go to Sonys manufacturers site and look for a link that says support. Look for issues about xp and driver failures.
Go to www.google.com (http://www.google.com)

Type in sony homepage and go from there.
